My friend has a mac. We can't seem to find the same server to play on. The lsit that populates on his system has none of the games that I can see. Do you know what we should do if we'd like to game together.

thanks

Only current versions are able to play with one another. For example, you probably have version 2.6, and Macs, as of now, only have version 2.5. The servers are different per version, making it not backwards compatible. The only solution you have now is to download the previous version, 2.5. It's either that or wait for the Mac version of 2.6 to come out.

Make sure they are on the same version (2.5). Also, you may want to check out the server creating guide (also a sticky in this forum section).

I have mad sure that the PC is running 2.5 but the MAC would not see it under LAN. Wondering if the MAC has to have some special settings or something. PCs see the server finr.

Try to repair your permissions (using Disk Utility). Restart after that. If you still experience troubles, delete the application support file (~/Library/Application Support/Army Operations 2.5.0). If all that doesn't work, then delete the support file and the application and re-download AA from a different site.

Hey everyone. I'm a Mac user, and I've downloaded AA before and played before, but the time I played before, when I went to the internet servers, I saw over 1000 servers available... However, just yesterday, I downloaded AA again for Mac, and went to the internet servers, but everytime I said refresh, I only saw just under 50 servers...I have no idea why. If someone could please explain to me what has happened. Did I do something that would only show 50 servers or something? Please help!

AA has been discontinued for Mac. What you are experiencing is a difference in versions. The Windows population is at 2.8.0, while Mac is still in 2.5.0. As you can see, there aren't many servers avaiable. There is no current way to get Mac up to date with Windows.

They would pay for a full game and functional has been absent for some time and had a cargo mega-ton of updates since then, which can be viewed on a PC, played with Boot Camp on a Mac * AND * now has a beta client that runs on Mac with Wine. This is not Think. Youre not just paying for the game client itself. . . you pay for access to the server. Server access can be made regardless of the platform, but the account is based on. . . No free games for the world as a whole, even if they only test the beta Mac client wine because there is no obvious way to make a difference. Gripe elsewhere (ie not FE forums), you can the client 10 day free, or buy the game (very affordable right now) and enjoy everything it offers.

I have completed the online course on an online site. I get a lot of technical knowledge of their training program.
