All guns keep jamming, what is the cause?

I would estimate that in nearly 40% of the matches I play my primary gun will jam. I use the M4 the most but it doesn't seem related, it's just as likely on the M16 as well but less likely on the SAW.

I can reload until the cows come home or I'm dead but the problem remains. I change the Fire Selector, Reload, switch to genades....back and forth but I eventually go scrambling for another weapon.

Sometimes I can't even select a grenade.

I can understand a 'programmed' jam just to keep you on your toes but this is outrageous. Is this some bug related to either network transports, lag, .....what?

Can this be related to something on my end with my computer?

Please, can anybody help me?

you sure it is a jam, after you reload, without using all your rounds in the mag, you auto put it on safe.

also using auto clickers puts you on a higher chance of jam as you aren't suposse to shoot that fast with single fire mode.

All weapons in the game has jamming capability's programmed, the math behind it is complicated, but to put it simple, the more you use automatic fire the higher the chance is for a jam, short burst would lower the possibility for a jam.
(im not to sure of the DMR tho, i cant recall ever having a jam with that)

I hear what you're both saying but this will happen even from the beginning before I've fired a shot.

I appreciate the 'programmed jam' but this is sooooooooooooo often it can't be related to that.

It's not a 'oops. just reloaded' thing.

I can't believe it's not happening to more people.

Just started a match with a SAW and it had the magazine flipped up in from of the sights.

If it can go wrong it does it to me with a weapon at least twice EVERY 6 match series.

^^ Happens at least once Avery 3 rounds to Averyone ! (im using M4 as well)

Sometimes 7 times in a row after a fix and full reload.

I can play for a couple of hours without ever having a jam, with the m4, i think it could be related to game style, i try to use short bursts and never empty the mag completely.

But the times i do get a jam is at the worst possible, its always at CQB.

As for the saw box ending up in front of the sights, its a known issue.

I'm sure the m4 jams but not nearly as much as it does in game and if it does do that in real life im sure the army would adapt a new gun or they will lose alot of soldiers that rely on thier guns for protection.......

weapons should jam more often, at least saw and m4/m16 imo.
that would discourage the run&gun.

thats a really bad way to discourage run and gun. it would mostly encourage people to quit the game.
better way is to halve the speed that players move at, and increase the time it takes for stamina to regenerate.

I'm pretty sure the jamming thing is a bug you're having if you don't see the player move the gun to the side to indicate a jam.
