Lets face it. This game is created by the U.S. Government to recruit potential teenagers into the army. All this game does is put forth the most boring parts of the military (training) and give a multiplayer that is extremely unfun and flawed. No potential recruit is going to play this game and understand the core mechanics of the military or actually leave the game going "wow I can't wait to join."

On the other hand you have Call of Duty. Heres a game that recruits FAR more teenagers into the military than this software could ever hope to achieve. The campaign is fun and highlights the more fun aspects of the army which is the excitement and honor in serving your country AND getting to use top end military equipment. I can honestly leave call of duty and say that the army is completely cool and is something that I want to be apart of.

Now I'm sure most of you are foaming at the mouth saying "call of duty is unrealistic" etc. They get people interested in the military. All this game does it get 40+ year old sim gamers a chance to play a somewhat realistic military game (not really). NO TEENAGER IS DOWNLOADING THIS GAME AND SHARING IT WITH THEIR FRIENDS.

I see where the direction of this game is going. I played AA 2.0 and thought it was a great game. It had good graphics, multiplayer, and also had great dev support. This game came out in July of 2009 and we have had 3 patches which havent done anything. The game is a joke.

So basically this whole operation is a waste of money and is a complete embarrassment to the United States.

I agree that COD would get more teenagers interested in joining the army, but do you really think the army is waiting for the average COD kid?!?! 'I see something move....BAM!!!'
Also, the army can't be seen promoting this kind of violence (no matter how much fun it is on a computer) as one of its core messages. If COD was the official Army recruitment game, it would be slaughtered by the media. This game could be a lot better, but COD is not the answer.

Sir, I have been playing this game since its release back in 2009.
I have brought more then 6 friends into this game, and they are all teenagers, weird uh? It is extremely stupid of you to say something which you have no base at all. I know clans who are constituted by teenagers. So please next time you want to write a post criticizing the game please go after the statistics and read more information please.

About Call of Duty, yes they have a hell of a big support, but why? They have it due to the fact that when a new game is released the whole entire world is waiting to buy it, they have a budget the size of the moon and also a heavily modified engine basis.
Now AA3, most of the game designers and developers are voluntary people who wanted to take part in the project and show the world they can and will make a perfect game. You my friend, you are a blind man, open your eyes first and make some research. That's all.

Lupo.

Surely,

Srly o.0 cod the new one or the old one, becuase to be honest cod black ops is very Dis-appointing to me i think MOH beats this game ten fold....

Secondly COD does not i repeat Does noit teach you the right Result's... How do i figure this, well fristly you dont get rewards for killing people in the field for new guns on ranks, While in the Real Army Military, you have to train to use that Weapon thats more auth then COD, Secondly....

COD does not have training and there for at one time there was an Article some where posted here about Where some one who With no Medical History etc did training on AA and saved someones life when asked how did he learn to do what he Did he Simply Said Americas Army,so tell me where it saids COD has this and Proof it?

I like how people point out they brought their "friends" into the game rather than tackle any other current points I made. Further proof that this game is EPIC FAIL.

You would really recommend this game to your "friends"? Some friend you are. LOL

Yes, you have good current points. COD it's a ok game. Look at the team they have, the developers that are paid well to do what they do with unlimited resourses. IM sure the Devs for AA get something for what they do but IM not sure on that. With this being a FREE game what does it cost you? Sure if you're a clan memeber or leader and lease a server it cost you, but othr than that what's it cost you? Sure if you're a American citizen it cost you because TAX dollars go to it one way or another.
We all want no lag, no bugs, new maps, yada yada yada. It'll get there but if that doesn't comfort you in some way, click start/control panel/ Add/Remove, then uninstall America's Army3 then follow what's prompted on your screen to do and restart....

This is why we can't have socialism. The government does things way inferior than the private market. Believe me, I uninstalled Americas Army 3 a long time ago.

Probably because AA 2.0 was my favorite FPS of all time and 3.0 is such a dissapointment it literally makes me mad. I hate all you clowns giving a pass to these slapstick devs. The tax payers paid for an Unreal 3.0 engine license and paid these devs good money and we all got scammed. This game is a JOKE.

Hey i like AA2 just as much as the next person, I like AA3 just as other do as well. Sense you've uninstalled it i'd stop flaming about it. Go back and just play AA2 sense it was your favorite FPS of all time and wait for updates so you can reinstall it and see if you like it or not. Then come here and flam about how nothing was fixed and how you waisted your time to download the game again.

And good luck on finding a server on AA2 that's not modded in some way or anther, yes there are just a slim few that's normal, the way it was ment to be......

im cool with you thinking i am not a good friend and I wont list the reasons i AM a good friend but that is besides the point. I dislike COD. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...eS4VX_c I think this is good enough reason.
I think it would be great if the military sold the game to a professional developer but made sure that the game was realistic, however it would probably not be free in that case.
