The America's Army team is thrilled to welcome home and welcome back to the project SGT Tommy Rieman, one of our America's Army Real Heroes and Subject Matter Experts. For 8 months, from January to August 2010, SGT Rieman was deployed in Tallil Iraq where his National Guard unit was responsible for convoy security, escorting supplies needed to support the troops and equipment that was returning back to the states or going to Afghanistan. This deployment marked his return to Iraq after his heroic actions in December 2003 which AA players learned about in SGT Rieman's Real Heroes story.

Over the next few months, we will post interviews with SGT Rieman to learn more about his deployment, how he kept in touch with his friends and family, and what it was like to come home. SGT Rieman is currently working with the AA team as a Subject Matter Expert for the game as well as some of the U.S. Army training simulations for equipment that he had hands-on experience with while in Iraq. SGT Rieman will also participate in several chats with America's Army players and will challenge AA players on missions during special game nights. Keep a look out for postings in the forums, Facebook and on the AA website for dates and times.

Welcome home SGT Rieman. We are so happy to have you back on the team and thank you for all that you do in keeping us safe. Please join us in posting welcome home messages on our Facebook page and in our forums.
