omg ...
chalk was the best...
best of everything and there are no words that can express the great loss.
he was so much more than can be said with typing.
he allways had a kind word and much patience no matter how his day was going.
above all he was the best friend and boss a person could ask for.
and i will miss him a lot...

it is indeed a dark day

Even if I'm quite young among AA community I remember ChalkTroop and I really feel astonished after having read this.

My thoughts are for his family, especially the two children who are still so young.

We'll all miss you ChalkTroop.

This is truly a sad day, I've had a few personal conversations concerning the game project with Mr. Lewis for several hours. He was a joy to converse with and my deep sorrow goes out to his family. May God rest his soul. Mr. Lewis, you will be sorely missed.

I really didn't knew Ryan in person but these are indeed very shocking news.

I still can believe that a few days ago we were joking on how we will celebrate the one year anniversary of the game. Now the countdown, the anticipation, the beach, the plans, the celebration seems so empty.
As promised we will keep a cold beer for you buddy.

A really grave day for all AA community as it looses one of is finest.

My condolences to his family and all his friends.

This is a complete shock. I have never talked with Ryan much, but, whenever we did, he was a really easy going guy and he could be very funny when he wanted to be. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

A big final salute to Ryan i7

Last time I spoke to him outside the forums, emails were exchanged when he was helping me link my AA3 account to my AA2 account. I'm surprised I haven't deleted them yet. I'm going to save that and take it to the grave when St. Peter comes for me.

You will be missed.
