We're pleased to announce that yBladePL has won America's Army Mission Challenge 6!

This challenge focused on the best way to utilize the in-game combat slide and we received several very creative videos. After the community voted for their personal favorites, our team of experts reviewed all the videos and selected yBladePL as the overall winner.

We caught up with yBladePL and asked him a few questions about his experience with America's Army and our Mission Challenges. Here's what he had to say...

AA: How did you discover the America's Army Mission Challenges?

yBladePL: I read about it at polish AA website -

AA: How long did it take you to create and finalize your video?

yBladePL: Two days. I recorded my game and when I had enough videos I've made a
compilation and posted it at YouTube.

AA: How do you feel about winning this challenge?

yBladePL: I am surprised and just enjoy the win.

AA: Do you have any advice for other members of the community regarding the
America's Army YouTube page?

yBladePL: Yup, post more videos from America's Army at YouTube.

AA: What is your favorite feature in America's Army?

yBladePL: Definitely the best feature is realism and physics. That is why I play AA.

AA: How do you feel about the interaction between the America's Army team and
its community on YouTube?

yBladePL: It's great idea, surely it will attract other players.

AA: How long have you been playing America's Army?

yBladePL: I have been playing America's Army since 2006.

AA: What is your favorite AA mission and why?

yBladePL: My favorite mission for AA3 is Ranch with Activated Objective, becouse it's
big map and you never know where the enemy may come from. In Assault you have
many opportunities to attack.

AA: Do you have a clan of players that you regularly play with?

yBladePL: No, I just play with my friends for fun.

AA: Have you ever played America's Army competitively?

yBladePL: No, I haven't.

Congratulations again to yBladePL and be sure to keep checking back here and our YouTube page for details about the next America's Army Mission Challenge and your chance to win cool AA3 prizes!

Awesome video, congratulations yBladePL Smile

Hope to see you in the next Mission Challenge, hopefully along with some more fresh people... so c'mon guys and gals you will be surprised how satisfying it is to see your video featured for thousands of others to see.

I would just like to add that many people think that the America's Army venture into Youtube and Facebook takes time and efforts away from development of the game, but it's not the case. The team at AA have dedicated staff who's job it is to oversee and set these activities for us to enjoy participating in.. actually I may be a little wrong in the notion.... maybe it uses three minutes or so of the Devs time while they enjoy watching our entries? or maybe they watch them at home after a hard days work Smile Anyway I believe that these additions to AA along with these very forums helps to build a good and even better community spirit and brings players from all over the world together, much like the game itself does Smile

You don't have to be a Steven Spielberg or James Cameron to take part either, it's as easy as capturing your in-game footage with a certain software... be it with Fraps, Camstudio, WeGame etc... and uploading it onto Youtube with a certain tag so the guys can find it. Enough of my mile long post anyways... Give it a try you might enjoy it, you may even win some great AA3 stuff. Also to add, if anyone is interested in participating but are maybe a little scared or feel in some way unable too and would like or want any help on how to make video's, or anything relating to the mission challenges, shoot me a PM and I'll be happy to help.

Congratulations once more to the winner of AAMC6, yBladePL great job mate Very Happy

Sigh bozy actually made one of his video's on our server, and it was posted on our website, i agree it isnt hard make a video, i havent been able to do this at all due to alot of work on my hand's so time is a factor when your trying to be the best, its not really compention to my eye's its for the fun of showing others what is fun to do and how you can make it better each time you play the game...

Congrat's to the winner of the new vid ( yBladePL ) even thou it took two days to make it you seem to hit it right where it was awsome vid as well too you did a great job Soilder!

Be sure that the version of Fraps you are using is up to date, I used to have the same issue until I updated to a newer version. As for xfire I'm not a user of it anymore, so I don't know about that one.

Nice to see you want to get involved though Cheesy Grin
