I know a lot of you out there would love to share a great YouTube video with others on the forums and most of the time the link gets yanked because it violates the TOS.

Well, good news!

SoCal65 brought an idea to the table that I think will solve this issue.

He recommends you go to: http://www.theeter.com/ and enter the link to the YouTube video.
Once you have done that, you can then paste that link here on the forums.

For example: http://www.theeter.com/america...ures-hd

Please remember, that any video that violates the TOS will of course be removed.

Thanks for looking out for the community SoCal65!

Information found on: cnet news: Theeter streamlines YouTube video watching

Hope this helps all of you post your "TOS clean" videos. Mr Green

EDIT...

Theeter seems to have on-going issues... I posted an alternative below, but I'll stick it here too:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There is also this method, using quietube:

Code:

http://quietube.com/v.php/INSERT YOUTUBE LINK HERE - Starting with www NOT http://

For example:
Code:

http://quietube.com/v.php/www.youtube.com/watch?v=SM9_0EetArc

http://quietube.com/v.php/www....0EetArc

EDIT #2:

Do not include http:// from YouTube link - start with the www instead.

Warning! You are about to leave americasarmy.com. This link is not to a U.S. Army or Department of Defense website or a website that is under the control of the U. S. Army or Department of Defense. This link does not constitute endorsement or guarantee of privacy or accuracy of information provided on the external site by the U.S. Army or Department of Defense

So this above warning is useless and not needed?

Yes it is still needed. If you read what it says, it is warning you that you are leaving the official site of America's Army and does not constitute endorsement or guarantee of privacy or accuracy of information provided on the external site by the U.S. Army or Department of Defense.
