Here is an explanation on how the weapon selection order is calculated at the start of a new match.

After a match is over you'll see the weapon selection screen (if you don't, press F2). You'll notice that you have to wait your turn, but based on what?

High score alone is not the deciding factor.

This is the Weapon Selection Order formula:

(pS/hS)*100 + H = O

pS = Player's Score
hS = High Score
H = Honor
O = Selection Order Points

Selection Order is based on your percentage of the High Score plus your Honor.

For example: (refer to the image below)

a. (800/800)*100 + 100 = 200

Player A had the highest score of 800.
800 divided by 800 is 1.
1 times 100 is 100%.
Add 100 to his Honor of 100 gives him 200 Selection Order Points.

b. (418/800)*100 + 89 = 141

Player B's score of 418 divided by 800 is .52.
.52 times 100 is 52% of the high score.
52 added to his Honor of 89 gives him 141 Selection Order Points.

You'll notice that a high Honor score does help...

Player F (91 Honor) had a score of 70, which was only 9% of the high score, but he beat out player G (58 Honor) who had a higher score of 320 (40% of the high score) because of his higher Honor. This advantage gave him 102 versus 100 Selection Order Points.

Look at the comparison of players F [100], G [98], H [97]. You can see how Honor helps the lower score pick higher.

Player J with a score of 0 picks before player K who has a score of 225 because of the Honor scores.

Here is the complete breakdown:

(pS/hS)*100 + H = O

(800/800)*100 + 100 = 200

(418/800)*100 + 89 = 141

(460/800)*100 + 67 = 125

(297/800)*100 + 71 = 108

(350/800)*100 + 58 = 102

(070/800)*100 + 91 = 100

(320/800)*100 + 58 = 98

(450/800)*100 + 41 = 97

(350/800)*100 + 52 = 96

(000/800)*100 + 83 = 83

(225/800)*100 + 14 = 42

So, while 15 is the highest Honor you need to "unlock" all the game options, achieving a higher Honor may help you in getting the weapon you want.

Note: Players joining a server during the last round will pick last regardless of Honor level.

Priority for class selection is given to players with the highest score from the previous match, and highest honor, with more emphasis towards your score.

Good details, but the simpler version has been in the manual.

The manual does supply a very general description - which is probably fine for most people, but this thread is for those individuals who actually want to know the details behind the process... Cool

I know, but I also wanted to point out, that another page that talks about the class selection, doesn't mention points were involved in the process.

Hi out there!

This maybe a stupid question, but it cames out of my understanding (maybe misunderstanding)!

What you explain is why somebody get´s a squad position, isn´t it?
Like sqd-Leader, sniper, grenadier, automatic rifleman and so on

It has nothing to do with the loadout on the right corner? Or?

Thx a lot!

This is explaining the order in which players get to pick spots on the team at the beginning of a new match. The highest picks first and so on.

Weapon load out is dependent on what slot you pick, and especially what map you're currently playing. (i.e. Special Forces, Ranger, Infantry, etc)

Sometimes when a lower honor recently joined a team, and when people already picked slots, but not the new guy, then sometimes he gets the SL position. Very strange, but I've seent hat happen...

Interesting.

Apparently they're still working out the kinks for AA3.

This is scoring for AA2, not AA3. It works differently between the two games.
