another bug I noticed is when the site doesn't load in a reasonable time: the hypertext words appear in a different way all over the forum. Also, date writings appear in a different way too.
Again, screenshots follow:

Bug 1: The apostrophe used in "don't" is actually a ’ (ascii code 146) rather than a ' (ascii code 39) - just a display error on the 146 symbol. See title of thread http://forum.americasarmy.com/...=274541

Bug 2: As I said on IRC, it could simply be your connection - you said it only happens when the page doesn't load properly - chances are, you aren't loading the stylesheet properly and those particular elements aren't loaded, resulting in the fonts for those elements resorting to using 'default' settings.

Bug 2, unless more people experience it, could simply be your connection.

Thanks for reporting <3

The appearance issue (second post) is due to the stylesheet not loading, it could be due to your connection or a slowdown on the server.

If you can recognize a trend in slowdowns, for example during specific periods of the day or while using specific functions of the website, I'll investigate any potential bottleneck.

Thanks for your feedback.

Well, sometimes I have to wait a few minutes for refreshing last posts (for both the ones with my posts and the link below that).

For the link for my posts, if I refresh the page and the updates won't show up, I get the "site unavailable" message thing.

I have two feedback for you guys...

1) The site shows 14 replies in the first page of each topic, but when reply #15 is posted there is no indication about "page 2 started", so you'll have to click on latest replier in order to see the reply. Can you fix this?

2) When showing the list of topics (IE, "R&R" section), can you add a "Mark all topics as read" right above the list? There is already that option, but it's located below all of them... thanks

most people got a little signature at the bottom of their posts...
but sometimes it shows..and other times it doesnt..

example:

in this topic started by me...
http://forum.americasarmy.com/...hlight=

my first post has got the sig below it
but my last reaction ( last reply in the topic) doesn't have it below the post...

think i got it figured out that: when you quick reply is shows
but when you click on "post reply" and post through the "reply" menu it doesnt show...

if you know what i mean Smile
i think its a bug? and yes i always have the attach signature box ticked

Not a bug, signatures only show once per page by design. It's to reduce clutter of pages.

In the main forum screens, listing the stickies and topics, would it be possible to put a smaller marble (or star) or mark, that at a glance, users know they have a post in a thread, without having to open it and search for their posts?

This is a feature other forums use that allow users to quickly navigate back to topics that they have invested a post or two.

[VET]Bud try to click on the "View your posts" link in the login box area. Is that something like what you mean? I didn't understand exactly what you were looking for.

Regarding: Latest Posts list.

Issue: When you click on a thread title in the "Latest Posts" box at the top of the page it takes you to the first post in the thread. Usually this is not the latest post.

Possible Solution: Change the redirection form 1st post in thread to "latest post in the thread" that way it will truly be a "latest Post" indicator.

I believe what (1VB)Bud is referring to is so if you have posted in a thread while viewing a list of threads it will show the star like this.

Something to that effect.
