I was thinking about picking up Windows 7, but it's so over priced...

I got XP for free, and it works for games, thats all I really need winblows for... I do everything else in Mac side.

We use PC's at work, unfortunately, so I've become pretty handy with XP..maybe I'll pick it up.

I love how seemingly random windows is with naming OS's. 95, 98, ME, XP, Vista, 7...

I also love how windows is so terrible, people are still buying an out-dated version.

winblows 7 is a bit better than vista. it has some nice improvements that make it close to what Mac users have enjoyed for years.

Yeah I want 7...I just don't know if it's worth 200 bucks to me.

They had a sweet ad campaign promoting a $30 student edition, but you don't find out until checkout (or looking at the tiny jpg of the box) that it's merely an upgrade, not the full version.

Free...Paid...it's all the same in the end. What MMORPG's are you playing, anyway? I still subscribe to WoW - but I don't play. I'm basically giving blizzard free money.

See.... I'm a really horrible MMO player. I hit my goal (like maxing my level and getting an o.k gear set), then I get frustrated trying to progress in end-game content because people are incompetent - but I'm too impatient to keep doing quests. So, I stop playing.

What ever happened to Dofus?

i grew up... lol... i
i luv SUN the graphics are cool and the quest are preety much linear so there is always people willing to join in a dungen or raid party, good hack and slash, but if you like WoW then RoM is best ..

How about you? what youre in to?

mostly just console games at the moment, and some old-school Star Craft.....beat Assassins Creed II recently, waiting for Mass Effect 2. Checked out both those MMO's..they look awesome - I like how RoM's site even copies wise website haha. Unfortunately..I still don't have windows..sooo.

Windows 7 is actually pretty decent.

I've been running XP on my MacPro for awhile, and I hate XP so much that after I'm done gaming I restart back into OSX to chat with friends.

But since I've had Win 7, my Bootcamp OS has pretty much become my primary OS. Windows 7 feels like OSX, it keeps the things I liked about XP, and threw most things that I hate about Windows out the window. So what you're left with is a OS that makes me (as a Mac user) feel at home, yet it doesn't get in the way for me as much as Vista did.

It's pretty decent, I think it's definitely worth a shot.
